Barney L Revesz

Barney L. Revesz (86) of Clinton passed away on December 31, 2023, at 9:20 AM in Terre Haute.  Born February 3, 1937, in Universal to Frank and Sadie Hill Revesz.  He was a retired miner at Peabody Coal Company and a member of Stateline Christian Church, and Blanford Sportsman Club.   Barney was a U.S. Army Veteran.  He married Bonnie Clark on October 8, 1961.  Barney was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Bonnie (September 1, 2011) and a son, Rusty Revesz (November 1969).  Survivors include his son; T. J. (Kris) Revesz of Paris, Illinois.  Grandchildren; Kelsie (Matt) Anderson of Cheyanne, Wyoming, Joshua (Aneava) Revesz of Avon, Indiana, Trevor Revesz of Terre Haute, Indiana.  Great-grandchildren; Henry and Samuel Anderson and Arwyn Revesz.  One sister; Sherry (Leonard) Meadlo of West Terre Haute, Indiana and several nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be at Giovanini Funeral Home, Friday, January 5, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and funeral services will be at 2:00 PM with Pastor Lucas Lane officiating.  Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital with envelopes available at the funeral home.
