I am so sorry to hear of Gary's passing. I have a few memories of him when we were kids. While I have been gone from Clinton for 50 years, I continue to have a warm place in my heart for the many friends I had while living there. I remember Gary from when we were neighbors when I lived on S. 3rd street. Many times we had squirt gun fights in his yard using boxes that appliances came in as forts. One time our friend Mike (Miller?) and I went to an elaborate scheme to make Gary think aliens had landed in his yard one night! Using talcum powder and swim fins we made tracks in the yard leading from a burned spot we had created in the yard. I don't remember Gary being fooled! I saw Gary a couple of years ago at The Castle on a visit to Clinton. I was very happy to see him. I know his family will miss him.
