Richard Miller Obituary

Richard S. Miller, 69, of Clinton, died at 1:32 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2018 in Union Hospital - Clinton.  He was born May 20, 1948, in Clinton to Stanley and Nora Houston Miller.   He married Sharon R. Natalie on April 18, 1970 and she survives.  He was retired from Allison Transmission, Indianapolis, and currently employed at South Vermillion Community School Corporation.   His memberships were, Veterans of Foreign Wars Runyan Pierce Post 6653, and Clinton High School class of 1966, Enjoyed watching and spending time with his grandchildren.  He was retired from the U.S. Marines where he received a Purple Heart and Vietnam Veteran.   He was preceded in death by his parents.   Survivors include his wife, Sharon R. Miller of Clinton; two daughters, Holly Silver and Traci Panagouleas (Steve), both of Clinton; grandchildren; Lauryn and Natalie Silver and Matthew and Kaitlynne Panagouleas; Sister Loretta Cooksey (Nick) of Clinton and two nieces.  Private services will be conducted February 13, 2018 at Giovanini Funeral Home in Clinton with Pastor Charles Jackson officiating.  Burial is in Walnut Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 12, 2018 at Giovanini Funeral Home.   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to South Vermillion Athletic Department or Riley Hospital for Children.  Envelopes available at funeral home.
