Carol Emery

Carol Emery (86) of Clinton passed away at 3:06 PM. Wednesday, September 24, 2025. Surrounded by her family. Born in Clinton, Indiana to Russell Rife and Eva Smock Spence and was raised by Edward Spence and Eva Spence. She was a home maker and a member of Victory Baptist Church. She married William Emery on April 23, 1955. She was preceded in death by her husband; William, one sister; Sandra Rife and granddaughter; Leah Peperak.

She is survived by three sons: Steve Emery of Hillsdale, IN, Rick Emery of Kingman, IN and William Emery of Clinton, IN. Three daughters; Shari Wilson of Rockville, IN, Karli Emery of Clinton, IN and Keely Schaffer of Clinton, IN. Thirteen Grandchildren, Adrian, Elizabeth, Matthew, Ashley, Chandler, Kevin, Billy, Katelyn, Emma, Peyton, Ryley and Izsak. Great grandchildren; Kyra, Jaxsyn, Elliott, Zarianna, Mayalina, Aubree, Lilliana, Clara, Max, Violet, Rahimah, Eliachim, Aria, Ezra, and Olivia. Brothers; Robert (Diana) Spence of Clinton, IN, Michael (Polly) Spence of Plainfield, IN and her sister-in-law; Donna Emery of Clinton, IN

Visitation will be on Monday at Giovanini Funeral Home, September 29, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral service will be at the funeral home at 11:00 AM, Monday. Pastor Larry Snyder will preside, and burial will be in Helt’s Prairie Cemetery.
