Carolyn "Carrie" Little

Carolyn “Carrie” Little (40) of Chicago passed away May 25, 2025, in Chicago, Illinois. Born, June 8, 1984, in Decatur, Illinois to Garry and Jeanette Avenatti Little of Brazil, Indiana. During her working career she was in marketing and public relations. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes in Decatur, Illinois. Graduated from St. Teresa High School in Decatur, Illinois class of 2002 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Millikin University, Decatur, Illinois in 2006.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Pete and Doris Avenatti.

Surviving are her parents; Garry and Jeanette Little of Brazil, Indiana.  Brother; Christopher Little of Boise, Idaho.  4 uncles; Pete (Linda) Avenatti of Branchville, Indiana, Joseph (Cheryl) Little of Houston, Texas, Robert (Diana) Lancaster of Terre Haute, Indiana, Jim (Mary Jack) Lancaster of Carrollton, Georgia, 2 Aunts; Penny (Mike) Kennedy of Clinton, Indiana and Vee Flory of Russellville, Kentucky, and many cousins.

Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on June 3, 2025, at Giovanini Funeral Home with Fr. Joby Puthussery officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at Giovanini Funeral Home from 12:00 PM until service time at 2:00 PM, June 3, 2025.
