Charleen Wilson

Charleen Wilson (88) of Clinton passed away on November 3, 2026, in Clinton. Born July 6, 1938, in Terre Haute to Henry Carpenter and Helen Krayci Carpenter. She was a retired clerk from Harris Grocery Store, Bag & Save and I.G.A. in Clinton and at Meis Department Store in Terre Haute. Charleen was a member of Sacred Heart Church – Clinton and Catholic Women’s Club. She married Larry Joe Wilson on February 13, 1988.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers; Hank and Freddie Carpenter.

She is survived by her husband, Larry and three daughters; Tracy (Marco) Zanandrea of Crestview, Florida, Benita (Dave) Ryley of Clinton and Lisa Davies of Clinton. Eight grandchildren; Jessica, Nathan, Marco, MaRanda, Kianna, Jackson, Mario and Alisha and several great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Friday, November 6, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Giovanini Funeral Home. Prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 10:45 followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church in Clinton with Fr. Joby Puthussery officiating. Burial will be private.

Memorial contributions can be made to Parke-Vermillion Humane Society or Sacred Heart Church.
