Debra Runyan

Debra Runyan (70) of Clinton passed away at Union Hospital – Clinton on May 23, 2026, at 9:35 PM. Born, March 24, 1956, in Chicago, Illinois to Anna Carapezza Stout and John Mathis. She was a medical coder for Union Hospital and a member of Sacred Heart Church – Clinton.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her stepfather; Walter Stout. Her first husband; Mike Runyan and her second husband John Winkler and one brother-in-law; James Neal.

Debra is survived by three daughters; Michelle Runyan of Plainfield, IN, Melanie Baggs of Clinton, IN and Jesica Runyan of Tucson, AZ. One stepson; Steve (Nikki) Runyan of Eutawville, SC. Three sisters; Linda Neal of Medina, TN, Janice Huffmaster (Jon) of Chesterton, IN, Johann Miller (J.D. Powell) of Westville, IL. One brother; John Mathis of Naperville, IL. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 11:00 AM to service time at 1:00 PM at Giovanini Funeral Home with Fr. Joby Puthussery officiating. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
