Delores Jan Stewart

Delores Jan Stewart, 84, of Clinton, passed away on September 21, 2026, at Vermillion Convalescent Center. She was born in Clinton on August 23, 1942, to Charles Milligan and Clara Marzelle Heber Milligan. A member of Wayside United Methodist Church, Jan married Jerry Leroy Stewart on October 7, 1961. Before retiring, she worked as an office manager for Dr. Richard Renolds, Dr. Ralph Llewellyn, and Swinford Farms in Hillsdale, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jerry, who passed away on April 15, 2025.

Jan is survived by her two brothers, Carroll W. (Sandra) Milligan of Clinton and Marvin L. (Jeanette) Milligan of Clinton; her nieces and nephews, Tonnie Bognar, Suzanne Wesley, Roger Milligan, Doug Myers, Jeremy Earles, Travis Stewart, Beth Earehart, James Stewart, Joe Stewart, Cale Stewart, Karla Fetter, Dusty Miller, and Justin Miller; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will be held at Wayside Methodist Church on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Terry Jeffers officiating. Committal will follow at Helt’s Prairie Cemetery in Hillsdale.
