Grover (Brit) Smith

Grover (Brit) Smith Jr. (82) of Clinton, Indiana passed away, July 18, 2023, at 11:10 PM at The Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care in Terre Haute, Indiana.  Grover was born July 2, 1941, to Grover B. Smith Sr. and Mrytle Josephine Kelly Smith and was raised on Crompton Hill where he attended Crompton Hill Grade School.  He was a maintenance supervisor for the Pillsbury Company in Terre Haute and was a collector of antiques.  He was a U. S. Army Veteran enlisting in 1959.  He married Elsie Jane Fiscus in December 1959.  Grover was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Gary Wayne and Harold Leon Smith.  He is survived by is wife: Elsie of Clinton, IN.  His two sons; Randall (Christine) Smith of Crawfordsville, IN and Tom (Jennifer) Smith of Clinton, IN. Four grandchildren: Jodi (Conner) O’Neal, Morgan Smith, Kylee Smith, and Jordan Smith.  Four great-grandchildren.  One sister: Jean Smith Abner of Clinton, IN and several nieces and nephews.  Private graveside services will be held at a later date.  Online condolences can be left at www.giovaninifuneralhome.com
