James A. Parlett (81) of Clinton passed away at 12:46 AM on August 17, 2026, at Union Hospital – Terre Haute. Born September 18, 1944, in Indianapolis to Bert and Mary Parlett. He was a supervisor for Lamar Advertising in Terre Haute. He served in the Army during the Viet Nam War. A member of American Legion Post 140 – Clinton.
He was preceded in death by is parents, brothers, Leon, Bob and David Parlett and one sister Judy Cline.
James is survived by Companion; Sharon Frazier of Clinton.
Daughters; Gina Frazier of Clinton and Lucy Elwell of Brazil.
Sons; Jason Frazier of Rockville, Troy Frazier of Clinton, Brent Frazier of Clinton, and Jimmy Parlett of Brazil.
Brother; Dany Parlett of Anderson.
Sister; Vicki Wills of Indianapolis.
Grandchildren; Kegan and Tristan Benskin of Clinton, Joshua Sanders of Amo, Justin Sanders of Greencastle, Breanna Lehr of Ladoga and Ryan Coffman of Illinois.
Great grandchildren; Kade, Ida, and Roman Benskin all of Clinton
Several other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Giovanini Funeral Home on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 12:00 PM until service time at 2:00 PM. Pastor Terry Jeffers will officiate at the funeral service at 2:00 PM. Buril will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery with military honors.
