Marsha D. (Dean) Hagemier, 71, of Terre Haute passed away on April 9, 2026, at 10:47 AM at Union Hospital. Born on March 27, 1955. Her birth parents Fred and Maryallice gave her life as Shawn Marie and her adoptive parents George and Betty Dean allowed her to life her life as Marsha Dorrene. She grew up with two brothers: Russell and Gary and a sister Marti.

Marsha lived a life she loved and cherished. She graduated from Terre Haute North and Ivy Tech School of Nursing. She worked as a candy striper, home health care nurse and in retail.

She married the man she knew the first time she saw him that he was the one for her, Danny Hagemier, together they shared fifty-one years of marriage. They were blessed with two children: Danyele (Eric) and Gary (Amber). They were blessed of being grandparents to Olivia, Jenna, Lance, Maggie and Alexis and later, Braden and Dane and blessed of being great grandparents to four, almost five great grandchildren. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Marsha was preceded in death by both her birth and adoptive parents, a brother, Gary Dean, a sister, Marti Maynard and a great grandchild.

Later in life, Marsha was blessed to meet her birth mother and biological sister, Starr and two nephews and great nephew. She loved the time getting to know them and having her family circle expanded.

Visitation will be at Lyford Bible Baptist Church, Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 10:00 AM until service time at noon. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Lyford Bible Baptist Church (Lyford, Indiana) with Pastor Jeremy Coombes. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Services are entrusted to Giovanini Funeral Home – Clinton.
