Betty J (Neihouse) Hoggatt

Betty J. Hoggatt (84) of Clinton passed away at 2:28 PM on May 20, 2022, at her residence. Born February 17, 1938, in Salina, Kansas to John Neihouse and Inez Foulke Neihouse. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Clinton and Catholic Women’s Club. She married Robert Hoggatt on September 16, 1967.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Robert (4/16/2015), her daughter; Barbara Lynn Gong (8/16/1986). Son-in-law; Bill Bailey.

She is survived by 5 daughters: Mary Louise (Rex) Galbraith of Brazil, Indiana, Gloria Ann Bailey of Terre Haute, Indiana, Gina Marie (Rodney) Smith of Terre Haute, Indiana, Donna Jo (Kenny) Kemper of Greenup, Illinois, and Karen Sue (Mike) Cunningham of Terre Haute, Indiana. 

2 Sons; William "Billy" Hoggatt of Clinton, Indiana  and Robert James (Ronda) Hoggatt of Clinton, Indiana .

Her grandchildren; Travis and Dustin (Emily) Wells, Lakin and Blake Smith, Marki Milsap, Dalton Kemper, Kenny Hoggatt, Kelcee Pusich, Kendra Richardson, Joanie and Michael Richardson, and Billie Jo Byers. 21 Great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson

2 Sisters; Virginia and Gerry of Salina, Kansas, 2 Brothers; Bob and Jim Neihouse of Salina, Kansas and several nieces and nephews

Visitation will be, at Sacred Heart Church – Clinton, Thursday, May 26, 2022, from noon until 2:00 PM followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 PM with Fr.
