Janice J (Thomas) Falls

Janice Falls (88) of Clinton, Indiana passed away June 7, 2023, in Union Hospital – Terre Haute at 9:00 PM.  She was born October 11, 1934, in Weston, Iowa to Harry and Josie Valier Thomas.

She retired from Columbia Records in Terre Haute working in data entry.  A member of Sacred Heart Church – Clinton, Catholic Women’s Club, and former president of Clinton Senior Citizen’s Center.

Janice had many hobbies such as playing cards, gardening, sewing, and putting together jigsaw puzzles.  She loved butter pecan ice cream and enjoyed volunteering to help others, visiting with friends and traveling.  She married Donald Falls, July 6, 1957.  She was preceded in death by her husband (July 22, 1982) and one grandson; Jared Falls (June 6, 1996).

She is survived by four sons; Daniel Falls of Indianapolis, IN, Kevin Falls of Clinton, IN, Dennis (Christine) Falls of Kansas City, MO and Paul (Misty) Falls of Clinton, IN.  Nine grandchildren, Brittani Brown, Hillari Falls, Rylie Falls, Chandler Falls, Megan (Tyler) Flaherty, Benjamin Falls, Joshua Falls, Isaac Falls and Eli Falls. Two great grandchildren; Leland Brown and Ivy Bendakovich. One sister; Ella Marie Higgins of Parkville, MO and several nieces and nephews.

A prayer service will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Giovanini Funeral Home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM, Sacred Heart Church in Clinton Indiana with Fr. Joby Puthussery officiating.  Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.   Visitation will be Monday, June 12, 2023, at Giovanini Funeral Home from 5:00 to 8:00 PM with Rosary at 8:00 PM.   Online condolences can be made at www.giovaninifuneralhome.com
