Jennie Jo (Buffo) Gruner

Jennie Jo Buffo Gruner of Mecca and formerly of Clinton passed away November 28, 2021, at 1:50 PM in Indianapolis at Ascension St. Vincent Seton Specialty Hospital.   Born, January 15, 1958, in Clinton to Domenic Buffo and Mary Alice VanHook Buffo.  Jennie graduated from Clinton High School class of 1976.  She married Mark Gruner on August 9, 1985, and he passed away exactly two months prior to her death.  She worked at many places during her life and the most recently being a bartender and cook at Mecca Tavern in Mecca, Indiana.   She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, Mark and Mike Glover and one sister, Carol Hamrick.  Surviving is one daughter Mary Jo (Kyle) Gossett of Clinton, IN, two sons; Gregory E. Gruner and Jeffrey D. Gruner both of Mecca, IN. One granddaughter, Amelia Gossett of Clinton, IN.  One brother, Domenic Buffo of Clinton, IN, One sister Cheryl (Dave) Cochran of Terre Haute, IN.  Her mother-in-law, Virginia Bonucchi Gruner, sister-in-law, Cindy Gruner Watson both of Clinton, IN.  Also, her brother-in-law, Curt Gruner of Rosedale, IN and several nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Giovanini Funeral Home from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.  Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 3, 2021 at the funeral home with Fr.
